5 Day Desert Tour from Marrakech

Your 5 day desert tour from Marrakech starts from Marrakech in the morning. We leave the busy city behind and drive toward the beautiful High Atlas Mountains. The road takes us through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Along the way, we stop at panoramic viewpoints where you can enjoy fresh air, mountain landscapes, and small Berber villages built along the hills.

After a relaxing drive through the mountains, we arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This old village is made from clay and has been used in many movies and series like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You will have free time to walk through the narrow streets, climb to the top for amazing views, and enjoy lunch nearby.

In the afternoon, we continue toward Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco. We then drive through the Valley of Roses, famous for its rose fields and local beauty products, before arriving in Dades Valley. The valley is known for its strange rock formations, green landscapes, and peaceful atmosphere.

You will ride camels across the dunes while watching the sunset over the Sahara. The experience is peaceful and unforgettable. After breakfast, we leave the peaceful Sahara Desert behind and begin our journey toward Ouarzazate. The drive today takes us through changing landscapes filled with rocky deserts, palm groves, and traditional Berber villages. Along the way, we pass through Alnif, a quiet desert town known for fossils and beautiful desert scenery.

We continue through the stunning Draa Valley, one of the longest palm valleys in Morocco. The road is surrounded by thousands of palm trees, old kasbahs, and small villages made from clay. There will be several stops along the way to enjoy the views, take photos, and discover the peaceful atmosphere of southern Morocco.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Ouarzazate where you can relax at your hotel or take a short walk around the city. Known as the gateway to the desert, Ouarzazate is famous for its movie studios and traditional kasbahs.

After breakfast, we begin the final part of the journey back to Marrakech. We travel once again through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains and cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
