From Fes, the route changes from history to nature as you travel through Ifrane, the Middle Atlas Mountains, and the scenic Ziz Valley before arriving in the golden dunes of Merzouga. Here, you will enjoy a magical camel ride and an unforgettable night in a Sahara desert camp under the stars.

Your journey starts in Tangier, the gateway between Europe and Africa. In the morning, we drive through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most beautiful blue cities. The road is scenic, with green hills, valleys, and small traditional villages along the way.
Once we arrive in Chefchaouen, you will explore the peaceful blue-painted medina. You can walk through narrow alleys, visit local shops, and relax in Outa El Hammam square. You may also hike up to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic sunset view over the entire blue city.
Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we leave Chefchaouen and head toward Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. You will discover ancient mosaics, old columns, and historical remains that tell the story of Roman civilization in North Africa.
Then we continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Here you will visit Bab Mansour gate, Lahdim Square, and the royal granaries and stables built by Sultan Moulay Ismail.
In the afternoon, we continue to Fes, the cultural heart of Morocco. Arrival in the evening and overnight stay in a traditional riad inside or near the old medina.
After breakfast, we leave Fes and travel south toward the Sahara Desert. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco” because of its clean streets, alpine-style houses, and cool climate.
We then continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests where you may see wild monkeys. After that, we descend into the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and dramatic landscapes.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. You will ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a magical sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
Early morning, you can enjoy sunrise over the dunes before returning by camel to Merzouga village. After breakfast, we leave toward Erfoud, known for its fossils and date production.
We continue to Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with high rock walls where you can walk and take photos. It is one of the most beautiful natural sites in Morocco.
In the afternoon, we drive through scenic mountain roads to reach Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and winding roads. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad in the valley.
After breakfast, we continue through the famous “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Our first stop is Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa because of its film studios.
Then we visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic ksars in Morocco. This ancient village has been used in many famous movies and offers incredible views from the top of the hill.
After the visit, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with breathtaking landscapes along the way. By evening, we arrive in Marrakech, marking the end of your journey.
