Private Marrakech Desert Tour in 3 Days

Starting at approximately 7:30 in the morning, your 3 days journey from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert departs from your riad or hotel.

Our 3 days trip across the Moroccan Desert will depart the high Atlas Mountains range, through Tizi N Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Amazigh villages that located on the mountains, then we continue south to  on the way to the ancient Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou; a small village declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.famous films have been shot in this spectacular place, including Gladiator, The Mummy, Obelix, Kingdom of Heaven and TV series such as The Game Of Thrones.

After lunch in this small fortified town, we continue to Ouarzazate city which is an Amazigh word means noiseless or without confusion, also known as the gate of the Desert, 

the next place to visit is the city of Kalaa Mgouna and the Valley of the Roses, through Skoura palm groove. in this valley you could have a visit at the distilleries that produce Damascus roses raised for cosmetics that are well known in this region of Morocco. A festival takes place annually in May and all the streets are decorated with pink flowers. You may witness some adobe Amazigh villages. Finally, we arrive at our accommodation in the Dades Valley.

After a delicious breakfast we drive toward Tinghir city along the 1001 Kasbahs Road admiring landscapes until we arrive to the spectacular scenery of the Todra canyons that reach over 300 meters, famous for rock climbing, hiking and picnic. You’ll see that yourv early morning trip was worthwhile once you get to the breathtakingly large cliffs, after a short walk in the Gorges, we continue to Touroug where you’ll have a free time for lunch.

then continue our journey to the one of the highlights of trip the Merzouga Sahara Desert where your cute Camels are waiting to take to the one of the highest dunes in Merzouga watching one of the most spectacular colourful sunsets ever.

After the sunset, your Camel guide will take to your Desert campsite located in the middle of nowhere. After putting up your tent, take pleasure in hiking a neighbouring dune to take in the serenity of the Desert.

Under the stars, a deserving Moroccan meal will be served. Prepare to demonstrate your drumming prowess to the nomads.

Your camp hosts will provide entertainment for you with their Tamtam drums around the campfire. Enjoy the atmosphere, which provide a spectacular show of shooting stars and distinct constellations.

waking up early morning is a must do to admire a changing colour sunrise, then a yummy breakfast is waiting, later your camel will take to the village where you will your driver waiting to return to Marrakech by driving past the town of Nkob amid the Anti Atlas Mountains’ volcanic scenery.
