Day trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls
Commencing at 8:00 am, we will depart from your accommodation in Marrakech for a scenic three-hour drive through the magnificent Atlas Mountains. As we draw closer to the falls, the route will take us past expansive fields of olive trees. The Ouzoud waterfalls are situated in the village of Tanaghmeilt, north of Marrakech, and are visible from a distance, providing a breathtaking view.
Upon arrival at the falls, you will find walking paths leading up towards the cascading water and down along the streams. The Ouzoud Cascade is home to natural swimming pools where you can take a refreshing dip or even join the locals in jumping off the high cliffs into the water. After a delightful morning spent exploring the falls, you will have free time for a Moroccan lunch at your leisure in one of the nearby cafes or restaurants nestled in the vicinity of the falls.
Following your lunch break, you can ascend back to the top of the falls and perhaps catch sight of the monkey families who are known to welcome tourists in their unique way.
