On the first day of your 8 days Morocco itinerary from Fes to Marrakech, our driver/guide will be waiting for you at the Fes airport to transport you to your accommodation.

We’ll then visit Fes city and explore the historic Medina of Fez, depending on your arrival time.  Overnight stay in a local riad or hotel.

Second day of 8 days Morocco itinerary from Fes, after breakfast,  explore Fez’s most interesting spots with a local giude. This beautiful city is the first imperial city founded by Idriss I during the 8th-9th centuries CE, it holds great historical significance.

the visit includes: historical sites and monuments, such as  Al-Qarawiyyin University, considered as the oldest university in the world founded by Fatima Al Fihri. Also, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Jewish Quarter (Millah), Chouara Tanneries, archtecture masterpieces like Medrassa Attarine, Najjarine Fountain,  potters, museums, traditional Souks (markets), and the Bab Boujloud gate. Third Day of 8 days Morocco itinerary from Fes, After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we will commence our journey towards Merzouga. First, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views and the first stop will be the Switzerland of Morocco, city of Ifrane. Second, we’ll traverse the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home of Barbary Macaques and the largest woodland in the country.

After Lunch in Midelt, we head to the Sahara Desert, passing through Tizi-N-Talghoumt and Ziz Valley, witness the charming (Amazigh) Berber villages of Errachidia. Then, our journey will lead us to Erfoud, renowned for its fossils production.

Finally, we will arrive at our destination, Merzouga village, where you’ll spend the night at a comfortable hotel.

Fourth day of 8 days Morocco itinerary from Fes, Today is dedicated to explore the amazing Erg Chebbi’s sand dunes and the surrounding villages.

After breakfast at your accommodation, our journey begins by visiting the nomads that still reside in traditional woven tents amidst the vast Sahara Desert and observe their simple way of life and share a cup of mint tea with them.

Next, we’ll explore the remnants of old mines that were once exploited during the French civilization. Furthermore, we’ll visit the charming village of Khamilia, home to the Gnaoua people originally from Sub-Saharan countries such as Sudan, Mali and Niger, you can enjoy the sounds of their traditional Gnaoua music. Lunch will be served at a restaurant in this small village.

Then, returning to Merzouga to start camel trekking experience to the middle of nowhere, witness the breathtaking view of the sunset from one of the highest dunes, after the sunset you continue the Camel ride to the desert camp located in the heart of the Sahara Desert. Finally, once you have arrived a delicious dinner will be served and you’ll have the opportunity to listen to Berber music performed by local nomads around the campfire under the starry sky.

Waking up early is a great idea to watch one of the best sunrises ever. After breakfast, we leave the desert and we’ll depart and to Rissani; a former bustling commercial hub for caravan trading, lively more in Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Then, continuing our journey, we’ll visit Tinghir town, known for its stunning oases passing by Millaab, Touroug and Tinjdad.

Next, we’ll head to Todgha Gorges, which boasts the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, a popular destination for rock climbers. Then, leaving Todgha Gorges behind, the path leads us to Ouarzazate; nicknamed the Hollywood of Africa due to its prominence as a filming location for world movies like “Kingdom of Heaven” ,”The Man Who Would Be A King” and “The Mummy”, Also, an episode of the TV series the Amazing Race 10 and Game of Thrones (season 3).

Following breakfast at your accommodation, we will set off from Ouarzazate on our way to Marrakech. Today’s itinerary includes a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou also explore the Kasbah of Telouet before continuing our journey towards Marrakech.

Then, we’ll traverse the highest pass in Morocco, known as Tizi N’Tichka, reaching an altitude of 2260 meters. By evening, around 6 PM, we’ll arrive to Marrakech, where you’ll spend the night at a comfortable riad or hotel.

Today is dedicated to explore the red city, Marrakech; its name comes from the Amazigh language and it means the land of God. After enjoying breakfast at your accommodation, you will enjoy on a journey to discover the many attractions this city has to offer with a knowlegeable local guide.

Our exploration of Marrakech will include visits to the Menara, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Gardens, El Badi Palace and the bustling Souks of the old medina.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the lively atmosphere of Jamma El-Fna square, where you can witness dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, and snake charmers showcasing their talents to entertain visitors.
