Day 1: Arrival at Fes airport - Transfer to your accommodation

Our first stop takes us through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains, with panoramic views and fresh mountain air. We’ll visit Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine-style architecture and clean streets.
Next, we head to Azrou, where you’ll walk through the Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco and home to the native Barbary macaques. This natural stop offers a peaceful break and a chance to interact with these curious forest inhabitants.
After a lunch break in Midelt, nestled between the Middle and High Atlas ranges, we continue our drive through the Tizi-n-Talghoumt Pass and into the lush Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves and dramatic rock formations.
As we journey through Errachidia, you’ll observe picturesque Amazigh (Berber) villages, offering a glimpse into the authentic rural life of the region. Before reaching the desert, we stop in Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil workshopsand geological richness.

Day 4: Merzouga - Sahara Desert sightseeing - Camel ride - Desert camp

After breakfast at your accommodation, we begin our journey with a visit to the nomads who still live in traditional woven tents amidst the vast Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to observe their simple way of life and share a cup of mint tea with them.
Next, we’ll explore the remains of old mines once exploited during the era of French colonialism. We will then visit the charming village of Khamilia, home to the Gnaoua people, originally from Sub-Saharan countries such as Sudan, Mali, and Niger. In Khamilia, you can enjoy the sounds of their traditional Gnaoua music. Lunch will be served at a restaurant in this small village.
Afterward, we return to Merzouga to begin our camel trekking experience into the vast desert. We’ll journey to the middle of nowhere to witness the breathtaking sunset from one of the highest dunes. After sunset, we’ll continue the camel ride to the desert camp located in the heart of the Sahara Desert. Once we arrive, a delicious dinner will be served, and you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy Berber music performed by local nomads around the campfire under the starry sky.
Day 5: Merzouga - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate
Waking up early is a great way to witness one of the best sunrises ever. After breakfast, we leave the desert and head to Rissani, a former bustling commercial hub for caravan trading, particularly lively on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Our journey continues with a visit to Tinghir town, known for its stunning oases, passing through Millaab, Touroug, and Tinjdad.
Next, we’ll explore the Todgha Gorges, which boast the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco and are a popular destination for rock climbers. After leaving Todgha Gorges behind, we will head to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its prominence as a filming location for iconic movies like “Kingdom of Heaven,” “The Man Who Would Be a King,” and “The Mummy.” Ouarzazate was also featured in an episode of the TV series The Amazing Race (Season 10) and Game of Thrones (Season 3).
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Telouet Kasbah - Marrakech
Following breakfast at your accommodation, we will depart from Ouarzazate on our way to Marrakech. Today’s itinerary includes a visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. We will also explore the Kasbah of Telouet before continuing our journey towards Marrakech.
Next, we’ll traverse Tizi N’Tichka, the highest pass in Morocco, reaching an altitude of 2260 meters. By evening, around 6 PM, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where you’ll spend the night at a comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing
Today is dedicated to exploring the red city, Marrakech; its name comes from the Amazigh language and means “the land of God.” After enjoying breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll embark on a journey to discover the many attractions this city has to offer, guided by a knowledgeable local expert.
Our exploration of Marrakech will include visits to the Menara, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Gardens, El Badi Palace, and the bustling Souks of the old medina.
Additionally, you’ll have the chance to experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna square, where you can witness dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, and snake charmers showcasing their talents to entertain visitors.
