Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport. Your driver will meet you and transfer you to your riad in the medina. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short walk through the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square and souks. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Marrakech City Tour
Discover the historical sites of Marrakech with a local guide: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the colorful souks. Afternoon at leisure to relax in a hammam or explore the Majorelle Garden. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 3: Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Dades Valley
Depart through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”. Drive through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges. Overnight in a charming guesthouse in the valley.
Day 4: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Head to the impressive Todra Gorge, ideal for a short walk. Continue to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Ride camels through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a magical sunset before reaching your luxury desert camp. Dinner and traditional music by the fire under the stars.
Day 5: Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fès
After sunrise and breakfast in the desert, depart toward Fès. Pass through the scenic Ziz Valley, the city of Midelt, and the cedar forests near Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco”. Arrive in Fès in the evening. Overnight in a beautifully restored riad.
Day 6: Guided Visit of Fès
Explore Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital with a local guide. Visit the University of al-Qarawiyyin, the medieval medina of Fès el-Bali, traditional tanneries, and artisan quarters. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Fès.
Day 7: Fès → Casablanca
