On the first day of your unforgettable journey, your driver will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Marrakech. We’ll begin our adventure by heading toward the Telouet Kasbah, traveling through the scenic High Atlas Mountains and crossing the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Our first stop is the striking Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet.

The journey continues through the picturesque Ounila Valley, dotted with traditional Berber villages, as we make our way to the famous Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning architecture and historic significance. You’ll have time to explore the site and soak in its cinematic charm.

After exploring, we head to the city of Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch either in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate itself. In the afternoon, we resume our journey toward Boumalne Dades, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful night in a comfortable hotel or riad.

After enjoying breakfast at your accommodation, we’ll begin our journey by retracing our route through the captivating Dades Valley. Along the way, you’ll marvel at the unique rock formations famously known as “the Monkey Toes” and explore the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul, a fine example of traditional Berber architecture.

Leaving the Dades Valley behind, we’ll head toward Tinghir and the Todra Valley, offering stunning panoramic views of ancient mud-brick Berber villages nestled along the valley’s edge. Upon arrival at the dramatic Todra Gorge, you’ll have the chance to walk beneath towering red cliffs that soar up to 300 meters high—a spectacular spot beloved by rock climbers from around the world.

Our 5-day tour continues as we travel to Merzouga, passing through Erfoud and Rissani, where we’ll stop for a delicious local lunch. Once we reach the village of Merzouga, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a traditional glass of mint tea before checking in to your desert accommodation.

After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation, your day of exploration around Merzouga begins. A cultural highlight of the day is a visit to Khamlia, often called the “village of the blacks.” This small community was originally founded by Sudanese descendants of slaves, and today it is known for its rich musical heritage. You’ll have the chance to enjoy a live performance of traditional Gnawa music and learn about their unique way of life.

Not far from the village lies the serene Merzouga Lake (also known as Dayet Srij), where you can observe a variety of bird species, including elegant flamingos during the migratory season. The experience continues with a visit to a nomadic wire house, where you’ll find an array of authentic Berber handicrafts offered at fair prices, often lower than in larger cities.

In the afternoon, an experienced camel guide will lead you on a camel trek into the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. As you ride across the golden sands, you’ll witness one of the Sahara’s most magical sights: the sunset over the sweeping desert landscape.

You’ll spend the night under a canopy of stars in a traditional Berber camp or in a nomadic-style tent, fully immersed in the tranquility of the desert. A delicious dinner will be served in the comfort of your tent, allowing you to relax and soak in the enchanting atmosphere of the Sahara night.

Rise and shine! In the early morning, your camel guide will gently wake you to witness one of the most magical moments of your journey: the mesmerizing Sahara sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the desert come alive with radiant hues as the first light of day sweeps across the sand. After soaking in this unforgettable sight, you’ll enjoy a camel ride back to your accommodation in Merzouga for breakfast.

Once refreshed, we’ll begin our scenic drive toward Midelt, passing through the historical towns of Rissani and Erfoud. In Rissani, you’ll explore a traditional souk where vibrant vegetables, aromatic spices, and the region’s famous dates are sold. As you stroll through the lively market, take in the rich culture—hooded men, veiled women, and bustling trade all paint a vivid picture of southern Moroccan life.

We continue our route through Errachidia and into the breathtaking Ziz Valley near Er-Rich. This region is known for its lush palm groves and dramatic canyon views. You’ll have time to stop and take in the sweeping panoramas before arriving in Midelt, nestled between the Middle and High Atlas mountains.

Enjoy a peaceful evening and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel or guesthouse, resting up for your final day of adventure.

On the final day of your 5 days tour from Marrakech to Fes, after enjoying breakfast at your hotel or riad, we will begin our journey northward to the imperial city of Fes. Along the way, we’ll pass through the charming Middle Atlas Mountains, where scenic landscapes and Berber culture come to life.

Our first stop will be in Azrou, a picturesque Berber village nestled in the heart of the mountains. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore the renowned Cedar Forest, home to Morocco’s famous Barbary macaques. Watch these playful creatures in their natural habitat and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Continuing on, we’ll arrive in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” or “The French Village” due to its clean streets, alpine-style architecture, and European ambiance. Here, you can take memorable photos, enjoy a refreshing drink, or simply relax in the town’s peaceful atmosphere.

We then continue our drive to Fes, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation. This marks the end of your enriching 5 days adventure from Marrakech to Fes—a journey filled with desert wonders, mountain beauty, and cultural discoveries.
