4 days tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen

Upon your arrival in Tangier, our team will provide a driver/guide to accompany you to Rabat, the current capital of Morocco. En route, you’ll pass through Larache, a charming town with both Andalusian and Arab influences along the Atlantic coast.

In Rabat, you’ll enjoy a guided city tour, including visits to attractions such as the Oudaya Kasbah, the Medina with its bustling souks, the impressive Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the captivating Chella Necropolis, where Roman and Islamic ruins intertwine, telling tales of bygone centuries. Your day concludes with dinner and accommodation in Rabat.

After breakfast, we depart from Rabat, passing through expansive agricultural fields, towards the second imperial city of Meknes. Along the way, we visit the sacred city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, where you’ll have some time to relax in this charming small town before exploring the Roman ruins of Volubilis.

Recognized by UNESCO as a cultural heritage site, Volubilis offers a truly remarkable experience. Continuing our journey, we arrive in Meknes, where you can wander through the lively El Hedim square and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant nearby. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture photos of the impressive Bab El Mansour gate.

The Meknes city tour includes visits to the Sahrij Souani stables, the old Medina, and the stunning Royal Palace. Afterward, we head to the magnificent city of Fes, where you’ll spend the night.

Following breakfast, our tour of the Fes Medina begins, taking you through the expansive and ancient walled city, one of the largest in the world.

Strolling along the narrow streets, you’ll be immersed in a vibrant atmosphere filled with enticing aromas of fresh fruits, aromatic spices, and the sight of intricately woven Berber carpets and captivating Moroccan art objects. Highlights of the tour include visits to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and the potters’ quarters. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the historic Mosque Quaraouiyine, founded in 859 by Fatima The Fihri, as well as the Andalusian Mosque.

Notable stops include the Nejjarine Fountain, the madrassas (Koranic schools), and the Batha Museum, showcasing the Palace of Fine Arts. For lunch, you can opt for a meal in a traditional restaurant nestled in the heart of the Medina.

After lunch, our journey continues, culminating in a return to your accommodation for the evening. During the full-day excursion, there will be a brief visit to the renowned ceramic factory, followed by a chance to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Fes Medina.

Following breakfast, your journey back to Tangier commences, passing through scenic farmlands and charming villages until you reach the majestic Rif Mountains. En route, a visit to the enchanting blue town of Chefchaouen awaits you.

Nestled between the two mountains, Ech-Chaoua, this picturesque town features steep narrow streets adorned with white and indigo-limewashed buildings, quaint squares, ornate fountains, and houses boasting intricately decorated doorways and red tile roofs.

Enjoy a delightful lunch at one of the traditional restaurants, offering a scenic view of the Ech-Chaoua Mountains. In the afternoon, your driver will transport you to Tangier, ensuring you arrive at your chosen accommodation.
